I don't know what happened, but I made rolls for supper last night, and they flopped. All of them. They didn't rise like they were supposed to. We ended up eating some, even though they felt heavy. I think I will cube the rest and perhaps use them for dressing later this week.
What have you made that flopped?
God Bless,
Rebekah

living in high altitude was hard for me at first. i needed to add flour to everything. one time my parents were visiting me and i made chocolate chip cookies and they basically turned into sludge on the cookie sheet. not enough flour by far. since then i always make sure i add enough flour.
I have had many flops. The worst was dry lasagna with too garlicy to eat bread. What a horrible meal that was.
I once made angel food cake. Instead of putting in 3 teaspoons of salt, I put in 3 tablespoons of salt. Yuck. I've also had rolls that sat to rise too long that they then deflate. And, also like ruthykins I need to add 2-3 tablespoons of flour to baking items because of the high altitude in which I live.
